Privacy policy

We collect the following:

• Account information you provide, such as your name and email address.
• Authentication data used to verify your identity when you sign in, including when you choose Sign in with Apple.
• Health and meal data you enter into the app or sync through Apple Health, including weight, activity, meals, and the GLP-1 medication and shot day you select during onboarding.
• Subscription and billing information. Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe on our behalf; in-app subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive subscription status (such as whether your subscription is active), but we do not receive your full payment-card details.
• Usage and device data collected automatically when you visit our website, such as pages viewed, links clicked, approximate location, browser type, and how you arrived at our site. This is collected through analytics and advertising tools described in Section 3.
• Support messages and any communications you send to us.

We use your data to:

• Operate the MN8 service and personalize your meal schedule.
• Calculate your daily protein target and distribute meals across your calendar.
• Adapt meal recommendations around your shot day and changes to your schedule.
• Manage your subscription, billing, and renewals.
• Measure and improve our website and marketing, including understanding how visitors find and use our site.
• Respond to support requests and improve the service.

MN8 uses trusted third-party providers to operate the platform and run our website. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their services to us:

• Supabase for authentication and database hosting.
• Stripe for billing and payment processing of subscriptions purchased on our website.
• Apple for billing and payment processing of subscriptions purchased in the iOS app, through the App Store and your Apple Account.
• Loops for transactional and account-related email delivery.
• Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect usage and device data.
• Meta Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising and to help us reach people who may be interested in MN8. The Meta Pixel collects website activity such as page views and actions you take on our site.
• Microsoft Clarity to analyze website usage and improve the experience.
• Tolt to operate our affiliate program, including cookie-based tracking that attributes a referral to the affiliate who referred you.

These website analytics and advertising tools collect information about your activity on our marketing website. They do not have access to the health and meal data you enter inside the MN8 app.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics, advertising measurement, and affiliate referral tracking, as described in Section 3. These help us understand how our site is used, measure our marketing, and credit affiliates for referrals.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of certain advertising and analytics tracking through tools such as your device or browser privacy settings, Google's ad settings, and Meta's ad preferences. Disabling cookies may affect how some parts of the site function.

MN8 may access health and fitness data through Apple Health only with your explicit permission. This data is used solely to operate the app, including tracking your weight, activity, and meal completion. You can revoke access at any time in your iPhone settings.

We do not sell, rent, or share your health data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. The website analytics and advertising tools in Section 3 do not receive your health data.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. No system is completely secure, but we work to follow industry best practices.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers listed above, only to the extent necessary for them to operate MN8 or our website on our behalf, and only under contracts that require them to protect your information.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@mn8.app. You can also delete your account directly in the MN8 iOS app, under Settings, then Account, then Delete account, or from the account settings on our website. Account deletion permanently removes your profile and associated data from our systems.

If you subscribed through the App Store, deleting your MN8 account does not automatically cancel your Apple subscription. To stop future billing, cancel the subscription in Settings on your device, under your Apple Account, then Subscriptions.

MN8 is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

MN8 is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition. The protein targets and meal schedules in the app are informational and based on general clinical guidance. Always work with your prescribing clinician on decisions about your GLP-1 medication and your nutrition plan.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the app. Continued use of MN8 after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
